We generally hold personal information about our members. This information can include their contact details, buying habits and transactional details.
4.2 Why we need personal information
You are always allowed to deal with us on an anonymous basis. However, we sometimes find it necessary to collect certain information from you. There are a number of ways in which we may collect information from you. These include: application forms; email; our website (including cookies); and over the phone.
In addition, there may also be certain laws which may require us to collect personal information from you. As an Independent Association we are required to maintain a Members Register. Where these apply, we will provide you with information about our legal requirements when we collect your personal information.
4.3 What about ‘sensitive information’?
We will not ask you for information revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, or details of health, disability or sexual activity or orientation, unless:

(d) The collection of the information is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of a legal claim.
4.4 What happens if you do not provide personal information?
If you do not provide us with accurate or complete information when we request it, we may not be able to provide you with a proper level of service.

Where we communicate by email with you, we may ask you for personal information which is related to the purpose of that communication.
7. Our Radio Apps - iOS and Android
This information applies to both Android and iOS Apps.
When connecting to our radio stream, your IP address will be sent to our radio service provider in order for us to track listening trends and provide licensing bodies with royalty reports. Once our service provider receives your IP it is immediately anonymised, deleted and becomes untraceable. This data is never sold on or passed to other companies.
Apps for iOS do not collect personal data. They communicate with Radio.co's servers to load App preferences and connect to the audio stream.
The King Island Radio Incorp iOS App does not collect any user data when installed or launched on your device
King Island Community Radio Incorp. Android App does not collect any user data during use. In order to provide audio control during Phone App use, the App will monitor the 'state' of the phone App (Idle, in call, call ended) if applicable on your device. At no point will the App be able to listen in or derive phone numbers or data.
The Android App also requires access to local storage. This is to store it's configuration for faster launch times.
8. Direct marketing
If we collect personal information for direct marketing purposes (either to market ours or someone else’s products), then we will try to first obtain your consent before we market directly to you.
